There was a time, of course, when gentlemen had bespoke stationery and writing instruments.  They had their help pick these items up from the same merchants that provided custom shoes, tailoring, hats and cigars.  Today, those customs are mostly gone, but a gentleman can revive these notions with a little work.

I was tired of not having stationery, so I hired my friend Dave Sattler of Lafayette Printing to print some of these fine cards and envelopes.  He did a wonderful job, and I’ll enjoy sending greetings and thanks to 500 friends and clients.
